All Saints is an Anglican church with a strong evangelical tradition, serving the parish of Lindfield in the Diocese of Chichester. Although we are a local church, we are also committed to supporting God’s work further afield through a number of Mission Partners involved in outreach work in this country and across the world
When to arrive: If you are driving then you'll be pleased to hear that there is free parking. For directions to reach us please go to our Contact Page. You'll be greeted on the door by our Welcomers and Stewards team who will welcome you, give some information about the church and our weekly newsletter All Saints News.
What to expect: For some people going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of a nerve-racking experience. To help avoid any worries here's a quick summary of what you can expect from our services at All Saints. First of all you'll find we are a friendly bunch, if you don't understand something please simply ask.
8am HOLY COMMUNION ... a quiet traditional service following the Book of Common Prayer (1662). This service occurs on the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month.
9.30am MORNING WORSHIP ... our main morning service for all the family. The whole church family meets at 9.30am in church and children (up to the age of 14) leave at 9.45am to meet in groups in the Tiger. Holy Communion takes place once a month at this service on the first Sunday.
11.15am MORNING WORSHIP ... a more traditional service with robed choir. Holy Communion takes place twice a month (2nd & 4th Sundays) and alternates with services of Morning Prayer. (BCP first Sunday).
6.30pm CORNERSTONE ... a less formal service with a youthful emphasis, for worship and teaching, with Holy Communion on the 3rd Sunday. Coffee and cake served in church from 6pm.
Our aim is that whether you are just looking into Christianity for the first time or have been a Christian for many years that you should be encouraged and inspired by the morning. We hope that everyone will draw closer to God.
What we believe: Our belief as a church is grounded in the teaching of the Bible, inspired by God to show us his will for our lives. We joyfully acknowledge Jesus as our Saviour and try to follow him day by day as our Lord. We believe that he is at work in our world today through the power of his Holy Spirit - changing lives, bringing wholeness and setting people free to serve him and help extend his kingdom. We are not a perfect church, but we are working, by God’s grace, to grow each day in faith, hope and love.
Is it just Sundays? No! God is with us all week long and we aim to lead lives pleasing to him. We're not perfect and we do make mistakes, but we desire to make a positive difference in everything we do. To further encourage us we have midweek Connect Groups (a small group is simply a meeting of maybe 10 people in someone's house). Connect Groups are at the heart of the church fellowship at All Saints’ and we encourage every adult member to belong to one. About 27 Connect Groups meet in various parts of the village for friendship, bible study and prayer.
Please contact the Tiger Church Office on 01444 482405 or email@example.com if you would like to join a Connect Group or receive further information.
A whole Church prayer meeting is held in the Tiger on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (for 1 hour at 12 noon and at 8pm). It is a vital time to bring all Connect Group members together to pray for Church activities, and community.
If you are just looking into Christianity you are welcome to come along to a Connect Group but you may prefer to join a Christianity Explored or Simply Christianity Course. Simply Christianity and Christianity Explored are both short courses presenting the Christian faith and its implications through a series of short talks and discussions based on one of the Gospels. Courses are held at regular intervals throughout the year and run over a period of six or seven weekly sessions in the Tiger.
These courses are a good way of finding out the basic essentials of the Christian faith. They also provide a great opportunity to meet new people, make new friends and strengthen faith. For more information 9o to our Courses page on the 'Find out more' page or contact the church office.
For those with disabilities: We aim to be an all-inclusive church. However our resources are limited so we try to provide for our current attendees. If you wish to discuss specific needs please contact the church office. Our premises are accessible for those with disabilities. We have reserved parking spaces near the entrance. Both the kitchen and toilets are accessible. We do have a loop for the hearing impaired.
