All Saints is one of 210 churches who host similar groups ensuring the Gospel reaches these often isolated adults. We particularly enjoy fellowship, bible studies, singing praise songs, acting out the exciting bible stories, and of course a meal to end the evening.
Almost 30 years ago, Brett Stoner made his way to All Saints, becoming a faithful member of our fellowship and through his contacts draws in many friends and our group has grown to 18 plus seven dedicated helpers.
Most live in specialist homes (non-institutionalised) with their caring ‘house parents’ spread around the district, so transport can be a problem.
We are so grateful for the support from All Saints that enables us to use the Tiger lounge regularly. It is an ideal, unthreatening environment for them to relax and have fun.
As with other groups we always welcome helpers. If you would like a taster, why not pop in for a visit to see what goes on, with no obligations – you can expect a great welcome and immediately see what a happy group we are.
