A lot of planning goes into making sure we take every opportunity to commend Jesus in a way that meaningfully connects with the 4000 or so people who walk through our doors during this period. No matter what, age, stage of life or background we want to be able to share and celebrate the extraordinary news about Christ. Christmas is a perfect opportunity for us to do that.
You may have bought friends and family to Christmas services who may never usually come to church, but how will you follow up in the new year? There are plenty of opportunities on offer: invite them to a Connect Group lunch? Church services? bring them to a Christianity Explored Course? To a Christian Union, POD or DIG? To Tiger@Ten? To Tiger Arts event? Tiger lunch? To dinner at home?
Most important of all is the personal witness of ordinary Christians living out their lives day by day with integrity, with gentleness and with Christ as their Lord. As 2015 begins, let’s ask the Holy Spirit to enable us to be such a people at All Saints. James
