Community Groups

We endeavour to provide opportunities for everyone in the Village to relate to church life at whatever level of interest they feel is appropriate to them. Community Groups (see relevant pages for the various groups) are particularly geared to facilitate an easy first contact in an unthreatening environment with people of similar age/interest. As people experience an awakening of spiritual awareness, there are other special interest groups which will help them explore faith values through friendships, talks, shared experiences, discussion and the like. Christianity Explored  is a very popular course that explains the Christian gospel over a 7 week period, by means of discussion after a meal and a presentation, either by a speaker or by DVD.
Church Groups are all designed to help their members to study and understand the Bible, learn about the Christian life and strengthen the members through prayer and mutual encouragement.
