We have just returned from 6 weeks in Zambia and were so encouraged by our visits to Isubilo. There is a real sense of purpose and unity in the mainly Zambian team led by Director Andy and Zambian administrator Enoch.

Each day starts with around 1 hour of ‘Devotions’ - praise, worship, a short Bible reading and thought for the day or discussion led by a different department each day - and prayer for the day's activities.

We helped mainly with the children's extra lessons - they are making such a difference, and are encouraging the youngsters to think rather than learn everything by rote. This week is the start of the two month long ‘Holiday Club’: extra lessons , lunch ,and afternoon fun activities including films—Vegie Tales, Disney Videos (‘Cars’ is a firm favourite!) and Bible story videos.

A growing problem is the increasing number of booths in the local market showing most unsuitable videos for just  28p. Many township children are stealing to be able to watch them.

Please continue to pray for God's protection over Isubilo, for integrity and daily strength and wisdom for the staff as they give practical help and witness to God's love and care to people who are in desperate need.
