¨ For ‘Fridge’, the Encrypt ‘chill-out’, prior to the evening service; pray for fellowship and mutual support.
¨ After Adam’s sermon last Sunday, pray we may ‘sow (the seeds of the Gospel) where we know’; pray for our community; for our contacts during the week; for opportunities to share the Scriptures.
Monday 6 February
¨ For those who have storms raging in their lives – families under strain, illness, stress, unemployment, hardship, loss; pray that they would remember Jesus’ words – ‘Peace, Be Still’.
¨ Remember those who are not on any of the lists in this Diary but are in need of the Lord’s healing touch and comfort.
Tuesday 7 February
¨ For all young people struggling with illnesses. Pray for their parents, for energy, patience, compassion as they maintain normal family life as much as possible – pray for their own relationships, that they would be kept strong and firm, under the pressures.
¨ For Jez, Oli and Katy leading POD.
¨ For Christianity Explored this evening; for those leading and those attending; may Jesus be present through his Holy Spirit warming hearts and giving understanding to minds.
Wednesday 8 February
¨ For Oli and Jez as they witness to the Gospel at Oathall CU.
¨ For Jaffa Club, the Christian after-school club for Primary children (about 16 attend); pray for leaders: Oli Taylor, Gemma Sawyer and Sarah Jones.
¨ For children and young people in All Saints. For the Good News Club (Sun.); for those in Pathfinders (Sun. & Thurs.); PoDs (Mon.); Encrypt (Fri.) and Easy Tigers (Wed.). For Tiger Cubs (weekday mornings); Rainbow (Wed.); Noah’s Ark (Tues.); Twins’ Club (Fri.); and crèches.
Thursday 9 February
¨ For Pathfinders Christianity Explored sessions; pray for these young people that they may be given understanding and be receptive to the love of the Lord Jesus.
¨ For the Marriage Course, pray that all marriages may be strong and faithful; for couples on the Course to enjoy this precious time together over a meal and find freedom to talk openly with one another.
Friday 10 February
¨ For our older friends, that the storms of old age—bereave-ment, loss of mobility, fear of the future would not overwhelm them. Pray that the Lord would wonderfully meet all their needs.
¨ For Encrypt Christianity Explored sessions; pray for these young people that they may be given understanding and be receptive to the love of the Lord Jesus.
Saturday 11 February
¨ For those preparing to lead worship (in various ways) or preach at the services tomorrow; for those who will be teaching/leading children and young people; for those preparing buildings; and may we all be ‘welcomers’ at the services and activities.
