Sunday (18th and 25th)
¨     For the launch today of ‘thegiftfm’, the Lindfield Christian radio station transmitting over the Christmas period, as they ’unwrap the meaning of Christmas’.
¨     For services on 18th at Crossways (Ray and Rosemary Tijou); Compton House (Bryan Barnes); Summerlands (John and Sue Mummery); Walstead Place (Andrew Nunn).
¨     For the service (25th) at Compton House (John Barling).
¨      For the Christmas Family Service  at 10.30am and the Carol Services at 4.30pm and 6.30pm (18th); May we, and all visitors, welcome Jesus with gladness, making room for Him, in our hearts and homes.
¨     For the Christmas Day services at 8am, 9.30am and 11am. May these acts of worship recapture a sense of wonder as we worship the Creator of the Universe coming to us as a new-born baby, pray that all who come may find their hearts receptive to the love, grace and new life that Jesus brings to us.

Monday (19th and 26th)
¨      For all those for whom Christmas is difficult or painful because of loneliness, bereavement, singleness, family breakdown, family separation, ill health and pain. Pray that The Light of Christ would gladden their hearts and lift their spirits.
¨     Shirley Taylor would like to say a big ‘thank you’ for all the cards and messages and above all, the prayers; she is so thankful to say no further treatment is required.
¨     For those who are not listed here but are facing life-threatening illnesses; and for loved ones who feel anxious and helpless.

Tuesday (20th and 27th)
¨      For the Clergy and Readers and their families at this time, for good health and the stamina needed to cope with all the extra busyness.
¨ For the service on the 20th at Arthur Bliss House (Frank and Pam Orna Ornstein).
¨ For the Open House Carol Concert this afternoon (20th).
¨ For all who will be working over the Christmas/New Year period. For all the emergency services, police and prison staff, coast-guards, fire-fighters, paramedics, medical staff in hospitals and residential homes. Pray especially for those in the church family who will be affected.

Wednesday (21st and 28th)
¨     For the young people amongst us, many not named here, but who nonetheless struggle with health issues.
¨     For our Mission Partners spread across the world, separated this Christmas from family and friends. (See p.4).

Thursday (22nd and 29th)
¨     For young people in our community and especially those from All Saints. Pray against influences which could potentially involve them in: alcohol/drugs abuse; inappropriate sexual activities; or violent behaviour. Pray for our young people; that they may be strengthened to enable them to make a stand against these things; pray god will give them strength and determination.

Friday (23rd and 30th)
¨     For the Christingle making in the Lounge (23rd).
¨     For the older members of our All Saints family, that they would feel loved cherished and cared for during Christmas.
¨     For those in Nursing Homes, some might not have family close by and may remain unvisited over Christmas.

Saturday (24th and 31st)
¨     For the Christingle Services at 3.30pm and 5pm and for the Midnight Communion (24th). May Jesus, the light of the world, shine His light into our hearts showing us all the way to everlasting salvation.
¨     _For the Churchwardens and those who act as welcomers; for those who prepare the Church and Tiger.

¨ For those preaching or leading services today.
¨ For ‘Fridge’, the Encrypt ‘chill-out’, prior to the evening service; pray for fellowship and mutual support.
¨ For Holy Communion at Compton House (Peter Diack).

Monday 12 December
¨ For this evening’s Prospects Tiger Club Christmas Party, the fellowship for adults with learning difficulties; for Jim Stone (Co-ordinator), Helpers: Stephen Argent; John and Ann Crook, Simon and Helen Moffatt, Kate Pymble, Alison Stone, Mel Simmonds.

Tuesday 13 December
¨ For Holy Communion at Crossways (Peter Diack).
¨ For the Tiger Cubs Christmas Celebration with Jez Lowries speaking.
¨ For all those who are carrying ‘heavy loads’ that they are unable to share.
¨ For all those for whom this time of year brings sadness and a sense of loss.
¨ Pray that ‘The Lord of Peace himself will give them His Peace’ despite the situations they find themselves in.

Wednesday 14 December

¨     For the older members of the Church family that they would be filled with the hope of this Advent season.
¨     For the Blackthorns school Christmas service.
¨     For the Encrypt Christmas Party.
¨     For the final rehearsal of the Christmas Choir; pray for them, and for Jonathan, as they lead the singing over the Christmas services.

Saturday 17 December
¨     For all the leaders of organisations as they take a break, may they be refreshed and renewed.
¨     For the Christmas services, especially the carol services tomorrow evening; for those leading and preaching and for the churchwardens/welcomers as they help the large number of people expected to come to worship.

¨ For the British Legion Carol Service; pray for the service and for those attending; pray for joy and understanding of the Christmas story.
¨ For ‘Fridge’, the Encrypt ‘chill-out’, for fellowship and support.
¨ For the services today; for those leading or preaching and for the congregations that we may be able to enter fully into  worship of the Lord Jesus, who died and rose again.
¨ For services at Crossways (Bob and Jean Priestley and Cliff and Rita Hollebon); Compton House (Jennie Herring); Summerlands (EFC).

Monday 5 December
¨  For the PCC; for wisdom in carrying forward the necessary business in a way that will further the gospel bringing honour and glory to Jesus.
¨ Please pray for all those for whom the road is rocky, lonely and difficult this week. At this poignant time of the year  remember those who are bereaved, those who are single, and those who have difficult relationships. Pray that Jesus will be their protection, their guidance and their comfort.

Tuesday 6 December
¨ For the Noah’s Ark Christmas Service, for the children and parents attending.
¨ For the Good News Club leaders as they share the joy of knowing Jesus week by week; pray for the leaders meeting this evening.

  ¨    For those preparing to lead (in various ways) or preach at the services tomorrow; for those who will be teaching/leading children and young people; for those preparing meeting places and those who greet people at the door.
