Sundays
¨ Let us pray that the God of hope may fill each one of us with all joy and peace as we trust in Him.
¨ For services during the Summer; for those leading or speaking; preparing the church; and those who have a ministry of welcome.
¨ For the services in Residential or Nursing Homes in the village; for Peter Diack and his team who lead services and visit the elderly.
¨ For the team out in Tanzania for health and energy as they come to the end of their visit and for the follow-up.
¨ For CPAS Venture Camps, New Wine and other children’s and young people’s summer camps, especially those going from AS.
Mondays
¨ For those who are unwell, especially those who live alone; for those who are in hospital for various treatments or for surgery; pray that they may know our love and practical care at this time.
¨ For the weary and tired who find life challenging; for those who are sometimes in despair and see little purpose to their lives.
¨ For those nearing the end of their lives, pray they may know the comfort and peace of Jesus; for those who are bereaved and feel desolate and abandoned.
Tuesdays
¨ For the elderly, especially the housebound or those becoming increasing frail; pray especially for them at this holiday time, when so many friends and neighbours are away.
¨ For the caring ministry of our church; that we may be seen as a body of people who will ‘go the second mile’; give and not count the cost; and will ‘be Jesus’ to those in any kind of need.
Wednesdays
¨ For the All Saints ministry to children and young people; give thanks for those who lead and teach; pray for our outreach and for the many young people who have no knowledge or under-standing of the Christian faith and become disconnected from ‘church’.
¨ For those who have recently be-come parents, may we give them our love, prayers and support.
¨ For children who are unwell.
¨ For those who will be receiving their GCSE and A-level results, and must subsequently make decisions about their future.
Thursdays
¨ For family life with all its ups and downs; pray for those who are away on holiday and for those who are staying at home for whatever reason; for those affected by the financial difficulties the country is suffering.
¨ For families to value, respect and care for one other; for families where there are broken relation-ships, hurt and unbearable strains.
¨ For Juliet Browning (daughter of Richard and Elaine ) who is going to Kagando hospital for her medical elective for two months, she leaves in the next week. Pray for her safety and enjoyment of this special experience.
Fridays
¨ For the various activities taking place this month (see back page); for those who lead groups or have specific responsibilities in All Saints and are taking a break this August, pray for refreshment and renewed energy.
¨ For staff and leaders as they think ahead to the new term’s activities.
¨ For fresh ways of bringing Jesus Christ to one another and to those who have no knowledge of Him; for the evangelistic ministry of All Saints, that it may be vibrant and full of the joy of knowing Jesus as Saviour and Lord.
Saturdays
¨ For those marrying at All Saints in August: Richard Clarke & Kerry Faulkner (6th); Tim Gage & Clare Hancock(13th); for the service of prayer and dedication for Martin and Tamsin Back. Give thanks for God’s love for them, for bringing them together; for their ongoing commitment to one another and to God.
¨ For Gracechurch as it reaches out with the love of Jesus to one another and to those who do not know Him.
