Sundays
¨     Let us pray that the God of hope may fill each one of us with all joy and peace as we trust in Him.

¨     For services during the Summer; for those leading or speaking; preparing the church; and those who have a ministry of welcome.

¨     For the services in Residential or Nursing Homes in the village; for Peter Diack and his team who lead services and visit the elderly.

¨     For the team out in Tanzania for health and energy as they come to the end of their visit and for the follow-up.

¨     For CPAS Venture Camps, New Wine and other children’s and young people’s summer camps, especially those going from AS.

Mondays
¨     For those who are unwell, especially those who live alone; for those who are in hospital for various treatments or for surgery; pray that they may know our love and practical care at this time.

¨     For the weary and tired who find life challenging; for those who are sometimes in despair and see little purpose to their lives.

¨     For those nearing the end of their lives, pray they may know the comfort and peace of Jesus; for those who are bereaved and feel desolate and abandoned.

Tuesdays
¨     For the elderly, especially the   housebound or those becoming increasing frail; pray especially for them at this holiday time, when so many friends and neighbours are away.

¨     For the caring ministry of our church; that we may be seen as a body of people who will ‘go the second mile’; give and not count the cost; and will ‘be Jesus’ to those in any kind of need.

Wednesdays
¨     For the All Saints ministry to children and young people; give thanks for those who lead and teach; pray for our outreach and  for the many young people who have no knowledge or under-standing of the Christian faith and become disconnected from ‘church’.

¨     For those who have recently be-come parents, may we give them our love, prayers and support.

¨     For children who are unwell.

¨     For those who will be receiving their GCSE and A-level results, and must subsequently make decisions about their future. 

Thursdays
¨     For family life with all its ups and downs; pray for those who are away on holiday and for those who are staying at home for whatever reason; for those affected by the financial difficulties the country is suffering.

¨     For families to value, respect and care for one other; for families where there are broken relation-ships, hurt and unbearable strains.

¨     For Juliet Browning (daughter of Richard and Elaine ) who is going to Kagando hospital for her medical elective for two months, she leaves in the next week. Pray for her safety and enjoyment of this special experience.

Fridays
¨     For the various activities taking place this month (see back page); for those who lead groups or have specific responsibilities in All Saints and are taking a break this August, pray for refreshment and renewed energy.

¨     For staff and leaders as they think ahead to the new term’s activities.

¨     For fresh ways of bringing Jesus Christ to one another and to those who have no knowledge of Him; for the evangelistic ministry of All Saints, that it may be vibrant and full of the joy of knowing Jesus as Saviour and Lord.

Saturdays
¨     For those marrying at All Saints in August: Richard Clarke & Kerry Faulkner (6th); Tim Gage & Clare Hancock(13th); for the service of prayer and dedication for Martin and Tamsin Back. Give thanks for God’s love for them, for bringing them together; for their ongoing commitment to one another and to God.

¨     For Gracechurch as it reaches out with the love of Jesus to one another and to those who do not know Him.
 
 
Sunday 17 July
¨  For worship at All Saints and Gracechurch; for those preach-ing or leading; for those who are welcomers and for those who are visitors; pray we may show love and warmth to those in Church who are unknown to us.

¨ For services at Crossways (Ray/Rosemary Tijou); Compton House (Bryan Barnes); Sum-merlands (John/Sue Mummery).

¨ For Songs of Praise at the Bluebell Railway.

¨  For the Team out in Tanzania; for good health and energy. (See more prayer requests on  p.5 of ASN for 3 July).

Monday 18 July
¨  For the PCC meeting this evening; for discernment of the leading of the Holy Spirit. 

¨ For those unwell, some strug-gling on their own, some fearful of the future as health weakens their abilities; for those with increasing frailty, for those who have health scares and are unsure what to do.

Tuesday 19 July
¨ For the Communion at Arthur Bliss House (Peter Diack).

¨ For Juliet Browning (daughter of Richard and Elaine ) who is going to Kagando Hospital for her medical elective over two months, she leaves in two weeks time. Pray for her preparation and her time there.

¨ For all those who are in leadership at any level in All Saints, pray for them over this summer break that they may find refreshment and restoration of strength.

Wednesday 20 July
¨     For Steve Ransley taking the Assembly at Blackthorns.

¨     For Christianity Explored led by P-J and others; pray for hearts to be open to the Lord Jesus.

¨     For the young people among us who cope with long term health related issues, especially those at school or college as the long summer term comes to an end.

¨      For children and young people in All Saints. For the Good News Club (Sun.); for those in Pathfinders (Sun. & Thurs.); PoDs (Mon.); Encrypt (Fri.) and Easy Tigers (Wed.). For Tiger Cubs (weekday mornings); Rainbow (Wed.); Noah’s Ark (Tues.); Twins’ Club (Fri.); and crèches.

Thursday 21 July
¨      For those in employment as they seek to witness to their faith; for those who are employ-ers or have responsibility for others; for those insecure in their jobs; for those unhappy in their work especially where there are unfriendly relation-ships, unfair treatment or even bullying—pray for wisdom in such situations.

Friday 22 July
¨     For those who faithfully visit the elderly in the parish, pray folk will gain encouragement from such visits, and find strength for the struggles and frailties of old age; pray too for those in our families who are becoming frail and need extra care; for home carers to find rest and time for themselves.

¨     For all the residential care and nursing homes in the parish; for those who care and nurse, and those who are residents.

Saturday 23 July
¨      For those preparing services for tomorrow.

 
 
Sunday 10 July
¨ For worship at All Saints and Gracechurch; for those preaching or leading in any way; for those preparing the buildings for use and for those who will be welcomers.

¨ For the Welcome Tea this afternoon; for those who are preparing the tea and for those who will be hosts; pray particularly for guests who may be new/newish or returning to All Saints, pray they may all soon be settled in All Saints.

¨ For the service at Compton House (Paul Wilson).

Monday 11 July
¨ For this evening’s Causeway Prospects Tiger Club, the fellowship for adults with learning difficulties; for Jim Stone (Co-ordinator), Helpers: Stephen Argent; John and Ann Crook, Simon and Helen Moffatt, Alison Stone, Mel Simmonds.

Tuesday 12 July
¨  ‘I will not abandon you or leave you as orphans in the storm’. Pray that this wonderful, comforting truth will sustain all those for whom life seems overwhelming. For the Communion service at Crossways (Peter Diack).

Wednesday 13 July
¨     For P-J leading Christianity Explored at Gill Martin’s home.

¨     For the young people among us who cope with long term health related issues, especially those at school or college as the long summer term comes to an end.

¨     ‘and God will wipe their tears away’. Pray this promise will speak also to hearts of all those who are lonely, depressed, anxious or in fear or pain.

¨     For all the older members of All Saints, that they would be encouraged by those who visit them, and that they would find strength for the struggles and frailties of old age.

¨     As the weekend approaches, pray for family life; for balance between demands on time with so many expectations.

Saturday 16 July
¨     Give thanks for the Guys and for their ministry at All Saints; for good fellowship at their farewell tea; pray too for good weather!

¨  Pray for one another, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith; and that we may be rooted and grounded in love; pray the love of Christ, which surpasses knowledge, may fill us with all the fullness of God.

¨ For services at All Saints and Gracechurch; also at  Crossways (Bob and Jean Priestley); Compton House (Ray and Rosemary Tijou); Summerlands (EFC).

Monday 4 July
¨ Thank God that those who are suffering and finding life a struggle are safe in the arms of Jesus.

Tuesday 5 July
¨ For those who are single parents, who often find life  lonely and a struggle; pray for the small group that meets to support single parents and for Antonia Easely who leads the group.

¨ For P-J speaking at Open House.

¨ For the Parish Away Team meeting.

Wednesday 6 July
¨ For Tim Gage and Val Upton (EFC) at the Primary School Assembly.

¨ For P-J leading the Christianity Explored Course this morning; pray God will open eyes.

¨ For the Sussex Gospel Partner-ship Training Day in the Tiger.

¨ For all our young people who do so well despite their long term problems, that they would be encouraged by our prayers.

¨ For those who feel insecure in their employment; for those who have lost their job and are struggling, not only to get a job but even to get an interview; for those who have lost their self-respect and confidence; for individuals and families who are struggling financially.

¨ For those living in care homes, and are looked after so sensitively.

For those who are carers; for those who support loved ones in their own homes and for those who are carers in residential homes.

Friday 8 July
¨ For the Communion service at Walstead Place (Peter Diack).

¨ For our older friends in the Church family, giving thanks for all the wisdom and experience that they can impart to us, whilst praying for them in the difficulties they face. For those still looking after themselves in their own homes.

Saturday 9 July
¨  For the marriage of Adam Peck and Elizabeth Wright.

¨ For those who are preparing to preach or lead worship at All Saints or Gracechurch; pray too for those who prepare the Church and Tiger; for those who are welcomers; for those who prepare and serve refreshments.
