¨ The Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need. He lets me rest . . . leads me . . . and  restores my failing health . . . pray with those who struggle with health issues: For all those who are unwell and for their families who support them.
¨ Give thanks for the ministry of Sidespersons as they serve before and after the Sunday services; pray for them as they meet together this evening.

Tuesday 29 May
¨ For Christianity Explored this evening; pray for clarity and understanding from those leading and for those who are exploring the Christian faith pray they may find light where there is darkness and answers to questions.
¨ For the Adult Confirmation Course; pray for understanding in all that ‘Confirmation’ means.

¨ For Oathall CU and for those from All Saints who go to help in the leadership; pray partic-ularly for todays meeting which will be an evangelistic event.

¨  As we thank God for babies in our fellowship, please pray for those for whom having children may be a difficult issue.
¨ For all those for whom recovery from surgery seems slower than expected – pray against frustration when energy levels are low.

Friday 1 June
¨ ‘I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives’.
May these beautiful words be a constant comfort to our older friends within our Church family when they are finding the difficulties, frustrations and aches and pains of old age hard to bear.

¨  For Village Day, for a happy, safe and enjoyable time.
¨ For the Big Church Day Out as people from different Christian backgrounds come together to worship God in a BIG way!

¨ For all those in the church family suffering with illness or recovering from surgery. Pray that in all their needs, hopes and fears they will remember that Jesus walks besides them.

¨ As we think of the many little ones and young people known to us who are in need of the Lord’s healing touch, lets rejoice in all the new babies joining our church family. Pray for all new young families, that parents would get adequate rest and especially time together as a couple in spite of all the demands of family life.

Friday 25 May
¨ For all those who are bereaved; for those who struggle with difficult relationships and those who face singleness and loneliness.  Pray for single parents and for those struggling through the difficulties of the teenage years. Pray for the ‘mind of Christ’ as they face challenging decisions.

Saturday 26 May
¨ Give thanks for James and Chris Clarke and Adam and Kate Pymble and their families; particularly pray for oppor-tunities for them to find rest and refreshment; pray their day off really is a day off; and pray for opportunities to get away from the parish and to find mental,  physical and spiritual renewal.
¨ Pray the Lord would draw near and pour out His comfort and blessing on the older members of the Church family. Give thanks for all our nursing and residential homes and pray for all those who are still managing to stay in their own homes, that they would be able to get the help and support they need.
¨ For those preparing to take any  leadership in tomorrow’s services; pray for the Holy Spirit to fill them and inspire them.

¨ For one another as we come together in worship of the risen and ascended Lord Jesus Christ; for those who will be leading and preaching and for those who will be teaching or leading the children and young people throughout the day.

¨ For  this evening’s Prospects Tiger Club, the fellowship for adults with learning difficulties; for Jim Stone (Co-ordinator), Helpers: Stephen Argent; John and Ann Crook, Simon and Helen Moffatt, Kate Pymble, Alison Stone, Mel Simmonds.
¨ For those whose spiritual journey has run dry; pray they might recognise Jesus walking with them on their Emmaus Road.

Tuesday 15 May
¨ Last Sunday morning in our prayers we were encouraged to ‘Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act’. As we bring those in need to the Lord, let’s wait patiently with them waiting for Him to act.

¨ Praise God that He is far more ready to listen to us than we are to pray.
¨ For those suffering as a result of the recession, especially those who have lost their jobs or whose employment is far from secure; pray for those who struggle to pay their domestic expenses.

Friday 18 May
¨ For our older friends and relatives in our All Saints family, that they too would be able to wait patiently for our heavenly Father to meet all their needs.
¨ Give thanks for those who have responsibilities in the various civic authorities; pray for wisdom and understanding in all they do and decide upon; pray for the service at All Saints on Sunday (20th)

Saturday 19 May
¨ For those who await diagnosis of their condition, for strength to cope with the results, especially when the news is life threatening; for those who may have a long period of recovery; many do not want publicity of their condition, may we be prayerful for those whose names are not in our prayer list.
¨ For those preparing to lead worship; may we know the presence of the risen Lord Jesus in our midst.

Sunday 20 May
¨ For the service at Compton House (Bryan Barnes); Crossways (Ray and Rosemary Tijou); Summerlands (John and Sue Mummery).
¨ For all those who staff the various care homes in Lindfield.
¨ Pray that we may take with us, into the coming week, all that we hear and share in our worship; pray for our routine activities which we may often overlook in our prayer times.

Monday 7 May
¨ Praise the Sovereign King of Heaven that we can bring all those with special needs to the throne of grace in the assurance the He is able to do far more than we can ever imagine.
¨ For those recovering from recent surgery, that they would be able to rest and recover speedily. For peace in the frustration for those who are waiting for medical results and appointments.

Tuesday 8 May
¨ For families where the work/home life balance is difficult to maintain and where this struggle encroaches on spiritual growth.
¨ For the Crossways Communion (Peter Diack).
¨  For Adam at the Proclamation Trust Conference this week; pray this time would be an encouragement; for good teaching, time with friends, advice on sermons; continue to pray for Kate and the children.

Wednesday 9 May
¨ For all those young people known to us who are coping with medical problems and health issues.

¨ For the elderly in our Church and in the village and for all those who minister to them; for all who work in our nursing and care homes, giving thanks for their skills and compassion.
¨ For the Lindfield Arts Festival (11th-13th); pray for our community; may this Festival bring us closer together and appreciate one another more; may we be more caring and supportive of each other.

Saturday 12 May
¨ For those preparing to lead or take a part in the services, for those preparing sermons; for those who make the buildings ready for our use; for those who are welcomers; pray we too will befriend visitors.
