¨ ‘The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock in whom I take refuge.’ Pray that this would be a comforting truth for all those who are struggling this week.

¨ For those who are sad, for whatever reason. Those who battle with mental health issues, and the fall out on families and carers. Pray for healing for those struggling with unhappy relationships and particularly for any children involved.

¨ For Gina Griffin as she takes up her responsibilities as Parish Safeguarding Officer, overseeing our care for children and vulnerable adults.
Thursday 3 May
¨ For those going through ill health. Pray that they would all receive the treatment they need, for wisdom and discernment for all the medical staff involved in their care.
¨ For Jonathan Robinson and for everyone involved in the music ministries of the church. Give thanks for all they do to enhance our worship and pray for their encouragement and unity as they practice and prepare every week.
Friday 4 May
¨ For all our older friends in our All Saints Church family as they cope with the difficulties and frustrations of old age.
¨ Give thanks for our flower arrangers and for all they do to beautify our church.
Saturday 5 May
¨ For the visit of the Rhos Welsh Male Voice Choir today, for safe travelling and for an uplifting concert, giving thanks for the wonderful gift of music which gladdens our hearts and helps to bind us in community.
Sunday 6 May
¨ For the services today in all the Lindfield churches, that God will receive the praises of His people and lead us out in obedient service to Him.
¨ For Christians who suffer physical, mental and psychological deprivation and abuse because they honour the name of Jesus, that they will remain strong and faithful and find God to be all their comfort in their hardship.
¨ For the service at Compton House, led this week by Bryan Barnes.
Monday 23 April
¨ For the church Annual Meetings tonight, for joyful thanksgiving to God for all his goodness to us over the past year and for a profound trust in Him as we plan for, commit ourselves to and embark on the new church year.
¨ For all those standing for office at the meeting, for wisdom for those appointed and for God’s Spirit to indwell them as they undertake their responsibilities.

¨ For all those unwell or recovering form surgery. Pray that the joy of Easter and the message of the resurrection would fill their hearts with hope and peace.
¨ For the second meeting of the Christianity Explored course tonight, for ‘the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ’ to shine into minds blinded by unbelief.

¨ For those who are needing on-going medical treatment, for courage and continuing trust in the Lord, especially when improvements in health seem to be slow or non-existent.

¨ For ourselves, especially when things seem to be going well and we easily can fail to depend on the Lord for his guidance.
¨ Give thanks and continue to pray for our young people, especially those who may be giving us cause for concern at present.

¨ For our worship today; may we come with joyous hearts, knowing the presence of the risen Lord Jesus; may we also share this joy with one another.

¨ Pray that we may be prepared for the week to come; may we remember to pray for our routine activities as well as our Christian commitments. Pray too for the way we use our time in God’s service and in our week day activities.

¨ For each one of us as we spiritually walk the way of the Lord this week; may we find time to meditate on the cross, and in some way, understand something of the love and sacrifice of Jesus.
¨ For the urgent need for volunteers to make up the teams to work with the children during the two church weekends away for Christ Church, Brighton and Lindfield URC.

¨ For those who suffer not only with physical problems, but who battle with mental health issues, stress and depression.
¨ For the Simply Christianity group meeting for the last time; may each one take with them the love of the Lord Jesus and the support of those who have walked along-side them over the past weeks.

¨ For the Easter Fun Morning; pray that it may be a really fun morning for the children; but pray too for safety and for it to be accident free; for all the adults who will be leading this special morning.
¨ Even though many of these groups will not be meeting for the next two weeks, please continue to pray for the children; pray too for the leaders, for rest, refreshment and renewal in their vital roles.

¨ For members of the older generation amongst the All Saints family here, that they would feel loved, cherished and supported in all their needs.
¨ For those preparing services or sermons for tomorrow; pray for the churchwardens and others as they assist with seating and practical arrangements.
